Affordable Housing Committee endorses two new home projects.

Affordable Housing Committee · Meeting of March 12, 2026

FALMOUTH — The Affordable Housing Committee unanimously endorsed letters of support for two affordable housing projects by the Falmouth Housing Trust. The projects include a three-bedroom home at 21 Pheasant Lane to be sold for $285,000 to households making below 80 percent of area median income, and a two-bedroom home at 20 Brigantine Drive priced at $360,000 for those below 140 percent of area median income. Both properties, released for affordable housing at the November 2025 Town Meeting, will feature advanced septic systems and wheelchair visitability.

Committee member David Sutkowy recused himself from both votes due to his Falmouth Housing Trust board service. The committee also coordinated precinct-meeting attendance and prepared marketing materials for April Town Meeting articles on affordable housing tax exemption and seasonal communities designation.
