Agricultural Commission approves letter on Andrews Farm monitoring

The Falmouth Agricultural Commission approved a monitoring letter detailing issues at Andrews Farm.

Agricultural Commission · Meeting of April 30, 2026

FALMOUTH — The Falmouth Agricultural Commission approved a monitoring letter detailing issues at Andrews Farm. Chair Stan Ingram drafted the letter, which the commission unanimously approved, requesting that the town conduct a ground survey to clarify property boundaries along the farm's south border with JB Tree Company and provide spring maintenance of Berry Patch Lane, an unpaved public road experiencing mud and rut damage. The letter addresses questions about whether bee hives encroach onto the tree company's property and includes irrigation line coordination with the Department of Public Works.

The commission also discussed plans for an Agricultural Expo at Falmouth High School on June 13.
