Board of Assessors approves solar abatement withdrawal, votes on exemptions

Falmouth Assessors vote on exemptions in session, approve withdrawal of solar abatements. The Board of Assessors unanimously approved withdrawal of KPMG solar personal property abatement applications submitted incorrectly as personal property, denied two late-filed applications, and granted 12 additional personal property abatements for non-owners on January 1, 2025. Chair Robert Dolan, Member Bruce Beardsley, and Member Joseph Clancy unanimously denied real estate abatement applications for 30 Cove and 43 Partridge while granting one for 28 Teaticket.
The board also processed excise commitments for 35,381 bills in 2026-1 and 854 bills in 2025-7.
