Board of Assessors grants six personal property tax abatements

FALMOUTH — Board of Assessors unanimously approves six property tax abatements. Chair Robert Dolan, members Bruce Beardsley and Joseph Clancy voted unanimously to grant abatements for six properties with bills issued in error: 81 Crystal Spring Ave, 125 Saint Marks Rd, 24 Wyndlea Cir, 13 Starboard Dr, 39 Telegraph Hill Rd, and 20 Goelotta Dr. The board also voted unanimously to deny exemption applications for 8 Town Landing Rd and 860 Palmer Ave, and rejected a late-filed abatement application for 45 Sunset Point Road, determining the board lacked jurisdiction under state law.
