FALMOUTH — The Falmouth Conservation Commission issued final orders on eight properties and continued dredging review at its September 16 meeting. Commission Chair William Duffy and members voted 6-0-0 to approve three Requests for Determination of Applicability, finding that proposed work at properties on Millfield Street in Woods Hole, Coleridge Drive, and Chase Road would not require Notice of Intent filings. The Commission also issued Orders of Conditions for properties on Davis Neck Road and Penzance Road, with votes of 4-0-0.
An enforcement case at 21 Davis Neck Road resulted in an Enforcement Order requiring 1,900 square feet of native plantings by spring. The Commission continued dredging review at Green Pond to October 14 after members raised concerns about cumulative impacts from similar projects throughout town.
