Falmouth's Shellfish Advisory Committee decided to email commercial and recreational diggers about fall harvest area opening timing. The committee reviewed state propagation updates, reporting production of quohogs and bay scallops with a sale of 30,000 second-year scallops to Yarmouth and education programs at the Falmouth Rod and Gun Club. Chair Peter Chase is assigned to prepare an annual progress report covering committee concerns, state landing data, and permit holder information for recreational and commercial categories.
