Falmouth's DEIB Advisory Committee rescind prior support for a diversity consultant RFP and directed Chair Mananjo Jonahson and member Amy Bower to revise the memo to the Select Board before May 4. The committee questioned whether the consultant's report should define the town's DEIB Officer role, which has sat mostly empty for six years; members said the current HR Director and existing staff lack independence and expertise to carry out the necessary strategic planning and policy work. Ocean Eversley and others insisted the committee become integral to all decisions about training, evaluations, and surveys going forward.
