Conservation Commission approves coastal property and drainage projects

FALMOUTH — Conservation Commission approves drainage work and coastal development applications in Falmouth. The commission voted 4-2 to take under advisement a Notice of Intent from Stephen and Janice Rejto to demolish and rebuild a single family dwelling at 173 Metoxit Road with Title 5 septic and mitigation plantings on land within coastal resource areas. The Falmouthport Condominium Owners received unanimous approval to proceed with roadway regrading and drainage improvements designed to eliminate chronic flooding.
Falmouth Beach Hotel Realty Trust received a negative determination of applicability for ADA accessibility work, and the commission accepted withdrawal of Kim Sieurin's controversial amendment request for retaining walls near a salt marsh buffer zone.
