Falmouth Conservation Commission closes waterfront hearings. The Falmouth Conservation Commission voted unanimously to issue a negative determination on John and Barbara O'Connell's raze-and-rebuild project at 27 Dartmouth Avenue, allowing the work to proceed without environmental review. The Commission closed hearings on two waterfront projects, Stephen and Judith Kaufman's salt marsh restoration at 71 Childs River Road and Joseph and Nancy Buckley's dock and expansion at 32 Surrey Lane, for later decision.

Conservation Administrator Jennifer Lincoln expressed concern that the Kaufman project's proposed cobble placement could inappropriately armor the marsh area.
