Conservation Commission approves four orders, closes hearing on constrained Green Pond lot.

Conservation Commission · Meeting of April 1, 2026

FALMOUTH — Conservation Commission closes hearing on constrained Green Pond dwelling proposal. The commission voted unanimously to issue four Orders of Conditions for residential projects at 91 Metoxit Road, 55 Grove Street, 58 Westwood Road, and 1 Betts Way in East Falmouth, while approving four Determinations of Applicability with negative findings. Chair William Duffy led the body in continuing three hearings at applicant request, including one on a 450-square-foot one-bedroom house at 17 Green Pond Road facing a dispute over a 5-foot versus 10-foot setback from a resource area buffer, which the commission closed and took under advisement without recording a decision.
