Falmouth Conservation Commission unanimously backs permanent protection of the 44 Bittersweet Road property. The commission voted 7-0-0 to support a conservation restriction on the 6.7-acre parcel owned by Bittersweet Farm Trust, to be held by The 300 Committee, protecting biodiversity habitat and agricultural soils along the Coonamessett River Greenway. The Compact of Cape Cod brokered the agreement over two years of negotiation.

The commission also issued Orders of Conditions for five properties and continued multiple enforcement and modification hearings to June and October.
