Council on Aging approves revised refund policy for fitness classes.

Council on Aging Senior Center · Meeting of February 3, 2026

FALMOUTH — Council on Aging approves revised fitness class refund policy for senior center. Director J. Bishop presented the FY27 budget update, seeking a full-time assistant director position as a priority, with status quo operations otherwise.

In December the center recorded 9,191 total participants, 6,145 check-ins, 776 volunteer hours, and 260 transportation rides covering 1,220 miles; the outreach coordinator completed 656 units of service. The council approved the refund policy revision unanimously, which clarifies that refunds for instructor-cancelled classes will be provided only if the total exceeds ten dollars per person per class at the end of the series.
