CPC approves $175,000 housing fund recommendation

Falmouth CPC unanimously backs $175,000 housing acquisition subsidy. The Community Preservation Committee recommended the award from the Falmouth Area Housing Fund to the Falmouth Housing Trust to acquire a single-family home at 28 Cross Street in East Falmouth for $550,000 and resell at $380,000 to buyers at 140 percent of Area Median Income, with a perpetual deed restriction. The committee also unanimously approved updates to the CP Fund Application to clarify the acquisition process for town-owned properties.
