Falmouth Cultural Council unanimously approves new secretary and documentary screening fund. Avila Rudd replaced Nikki Engstrom as Secretary, and the six-member quorum voted to cover $1,500 in equipment costs for an outdoor July 1 screening of "Democracy" at Highfield Hall as part of the town's 250th Anniversary cultural initiative. Treasurer Ilene Karnow reported $20,794 in the town account with $9,544.13 available in reserves after encumbrances; an additional $7,800 is expected after the April town meeting.
The Council also launched a Card to Culture webpage and branded flyer with plans to distribute to libraries, schools, and community locations, with possible translation into Brazilian Portuguese.
