DEIB committee defines scope, approves prior minutes
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Committee · Meeting of January 7, 2026
Falmouth's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Advisory Committee approved prior minutes and tasked Chair Mananjo Jonahson with drafting a letter to the Town Manager clarifying the committee's mandate boundaries. Four voting members attended the January 7 session; one seat remains vacant. The committee determined a Vice Chair position is not required.
Committee members will support an Ice and Immigration community conversation scheduled for January 22 at the Senior Center, sponsored by the town with help from the Falmouth Immigrant Rights Coalition. Upcoming events include an MLK Breakfast on January 19 and Juneteenth planning meetings on January 22.
