Falmouth Energy Committee approves prior minutes and advances education programming and legislative advocacy. Chair Scott Mueller led discussion of completed energy retrofits at Morse Pond School and East Falmouth Fire Station, both funded through state and utility grants, while Sustainability Specialist Stephanie Madsen reported six Level 2 EV charging stations now operational at Depot Avenue. The committee scheduled a National Grid utility bill assistance event for May 27 and a solar home tour for June 28, and member Olwen Huxley moved to draft a letter to the Select Board on bill H5151, a state energy measure that committee member Paul Skudder said threatens Mass SAVE programs; a special public meeting is planned before the Senate version releases June 10, 2026.
