FALMOUTH — Energy Committee approves December minutes, defers leadership elections to March. The town has secured $40,000 in MassDEP MassEVIP grant funding to support purchase of four all-electric vehicles and two plug-in hybrids for municipal use, with rebates of $7,500 per EV and $5,000 per PHEV. The committee continues planning a public Eversource presentation scheduled February 9, with 30 registered attendees as of January 14, and discussed education initiatives including a potential spring solar tour and showcase of renewable home systems.
The Falmouth Enterprise has agreed to publish the "Energizing Falmouth" column on a bi-monthly schedule, with Eleanor Ling continuing as point of contact for the series.
