Energy Committee reviews bill opposing Mass Save cuts and five legislative benefits

FALMOUTH — The Falmouth Energy Committee reviewed and edited a draft letter to the Select Board opposing a one-billion-dollar reduction in Mass Save funding in state energy legislation. Chair Scott Mueller, along with members David Leslie, Paul Skudder, and Eleanor Ling, identified five aspects of House Bill H.5175, "The Energy Affordability, Clean Power, and Economic Competitiveness Act," as particularly beneficial to Falmouth and agreed to send the letter to the Select Board within days with a recommendation that the board forward the committee's views to Senator Dylan Fernandez.
