Falmouth 250th Anniversary Task Force finalizes July 1st ceremony at Falmouth Heights. Committee Chair Bob Ripley will deliver opening remarks alongside Town Manager Mike Renshaw, State Representatives David Viera and Thomas Mokley, Sheriff Donna Buckley, and keynote speaker Dr. David Martin, author and historian.
A fife and drum ensemble will perform, and the ceremony will feature the unveiling of a commemorative marker and brass plaque accompanied by a musket firing and presentation of commemorative coins. A reception will follow at the Old Casino, and Library Trustees have agreed to host a liberty tree on library grounds.
