Falmouth Affordable Housing Committee authorizes tax exemption for year-round rentals. The committee authorized transmission of a draft year-round rental tax exemption to town officials for implementation planning. Vice Chair Gina Torielli presented winter shelter data: Belonging to Each Other provided transitional housing for 30 individuals, while 86 additional people received emergency shelter through the Duffy Health Center and other services.

Committee members identified vulnerable populations including homeless adults, families, elderly people on the edge of independence, and those with serious mental illness as priorities for long-term housing solutions. David Garrison, Gina Torielli, and Kelly McKeon were unanimously re-elected to their positions.
