Affordable Housing Committee · Meeting of August 13, 2026

FALMOUTH — The Falmouth Affordable Housing Committee designated David Sutkowy as its representative to the town's year-round rental tax implementation team. Committee Chair David Garrison reported Sutkowy's willingness to serve on the team created to design the program's implementation, which was previously approved at Town Meeting, and members agreed. The committee also heard from Falmouth Housing Authority Executive Director Bobbi Richards, who manages 222 federal and 87 state units and administers 626 vouchers but reported waiting lists exceeding two years and difficulty maintaining operations on limited funds.

Housing Coordinator Kim Fish reported multiple affordable housing projects advancing through permitting while developers struggle to fill units at 80 percent of area median income.
