Falmouth CPC approves preservation restrictions for projects

Falmouth Community Preservation Committee approves preservation restrictions for historic projects. The CPC voted to require preservation restrictions on all historic preservation projects it funds, effective for applications submitted in 2026 for the FY27 Town Meeting. The policy protects CP Funds and ensures historic features remain protected.
The committee also voted to accept edited conditions for Taft's Playground and advanced a $200,000 Teaticket Playground replacement application from Falmouth Public Schools, noting successful community fundraising. Vice Chair Michael Stone announced his resignation; Dave Kent was appointed to represent the Conservation Commission.
