Falmouth's DEIB Advisory Committee votes unanimously to seek Select Board approval for membership expansion. Chair Mananjo Jonahson, Amy Bower, Suzanne Thomas, and Jim Newman approved the request to grow the panel from five to seven voting seats, with Jonahson directed to add the matter to an upcoming Select Board agenda. The committee also unanimously approved prior meeting minutes from February 4 and 11.
Guests from the Teaucket Community Playground Committee presented plans for an $388,000 accessible playground replacement at Teaucket Elementary School, targeting a September completion despite the project falling outside the district budget; the committee recommended outreach to the Commission on Disability and Chamber of Commerce for fundraising support.
