Finance Committee · Meeting of August 20, 2026

Falmouth Finance Committee unanimously approves $812,000 in capital and technology spending measures. The committee backed a $432,000 emergency power infrastructure project to replace and add generators and backup switches at Town Hall, the Senior Center, and the Department of Public Works, financed through $372,000 in free cash, a $10,000 existing article, and a $50,000 donation. The committee also approved $250,000 for Department of Public Works Facilities Owner's Project Manager services, with Facilities Manager Greg Endicott citing a $31 million backlog of deferred maintenance projects and the town's inability to handle project management in-house.

Finance Director John Arnett reported the Waterways Fund carries an approximate balance of $941,000.
