Falmouth Moves Beach Parking Sticker Sales to Town Hall Square
FALMOUTH — Beach parking permit sticker sales are moving to Town Hall Square this week after a motor vehicle crash forced the indefinite closure of the Ellen T. Mitchell Bathhouse Beach Administration Building on Surf Drive, the town announced.
TOWN HALL A vehicle crashed into the bathhouse administration building at 56 Surf Dr. on the morning of Aug. 10, and the building will stay closed until further notice, according to a town News Flash post. Beach parking sticker sales, normally handled there, will instead take place at 59 Town Hall Square from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, and again Friday, Sept. 4.
The town's Beach Department is also adjusting staffing at its 10 public beaches as seasonal employees leave for the start of the school year. The department said it will update the public on which sites are fully, partially, or no longer staffed as the season winds down.
Town Hall also thanked residents who took part in its recent survey on new 95-gallon trash carts, a step toward the town's next move on trash and recycling service.

The North Falmouth branch hosts a Stay & Make drop-in craft Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m. and a scavenger hunt Friday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m.
