Police Station Advisory Committee · Meeting of March 20, 2026
FALMOUTH — Police Station Advisory Committee advances design to development phase. The committee approved prior meeting minutes unanimously and received updates on a March 13 completion of the Schematic Design package, now with cost estimators for a reconciliation deadline of April 10. Geotechnical site investigations finished on March 10, with results pending; electrical work orders placed with Eversource; and traffic studies underway by GPI.
A March 9 meeting with Cape Cod Commission representatives concluded that a full Determination of Regional Impact is unlikely unless transportation or historic-demolition thresholds are triggered. Community Outreach Forum #2, held March 16 with approximately 30 attendees, drew requests to relocate staff entry, move the vehicle impound to the rear, and address firing-range timing and noise concerns.
