George Heufelder agreed to draft a consultant scope of work for delineating water contribution zones to ponds, with Kim Comart and Liese tasked with identifying external funding. Matt Long presented findings from a cyanobacteria monitoring study at Jenkins Pond documenting blooms reaching approximately 15 micrograms per liter after fall turnover events.
The committee voted to pursue a fall Town Meeting article adopting state fertilizer regulation as local ordinance, with Kim Comart and George Heufelder to prepare language for Town Counsel Maura O'Keefe's review.
