FALMOUTH — Historical Commission approves three property certificates at March meeting. The board unanimously backed a 46-inch stone wall at 19 Locust Street, a rebranded sign at 321 Shore Street for Shore Haven Inn measuring 42 by 50.75 inches, and a replacement front door at 166 Main Street's Quarterdeck Restaurant. The Commission also unanimously eliminated duplicate historical commission applications for by-right solar panels and solar battery installations, consolidating review at the building department with historical oversight maintained by the Preservation Planner.
Members commended the stone wall as "beautiful" and approved the inn's sign with a background color changed from black to dark teal.
