Falmouth Historical Commission approves three Main Street signs, waives demolition delay. The board unanimously approved signage applications for Falmouth Academy at 27 Main Street, a restaurant sign at 291 Main Street, and a forest green awning for Little Rosas Pizzeria at 261 Main Street, and voted unanimously to expedite demolition of a structurally compromised 4-bedroom home at 11 Garnet Avenue, finding no specific historic significance to warrant preservation delay. The commission continued review of a new contemporary house at 282 Quissett Avenue in the Quissett Historic District, requesting architectural revisions to the water-facing elevation and siding before final approval at the June 2 meeting.
