Planning Board approves restaurant expansion and subdivision applications.

Planning Board · Meeting of March 24, 2026

Falmouth Planning Board approves two major projects in early decisions. The board voted 6-0-1 to approve a Site Plan Review for Devour restaurant's expansion from 12 to 45 seats at 352 Main Street, Unit 3, with lunch-hour seating reduced to 25 to manage parking demand; the applicant obtained a Flow Neutral Bylaw variance for increased wastewater. In a separate vote of 6-0-1, the board approved a Definitive Plan for a two-lot subdivision at 500 Carriage Shop Road with four waivers from bylaw requirements, pending submission of homeowner association and utilities-completion covenants.

A Special Permit application for parking at 28 Falmouth Heights Road was withdrawn without prejudice. The Red Horse Inn expansion application and a solar array Site Plan Review were both continued to April 14, 2026.
