Police Station Advisory Committee · Meeting of January 23, 2026
FALMOUTH — Police Station Advisory Committee unanimously approves preferred site plan. The committee voted 4-0 to recommend Site Plan Option #2 to the Select Board, incorporating a walkout basement, shared public parking for recreational dual use, and coordination with the wastewater lift station while staying within the $65 million construction budget. Chair Boyd DeMello led the meeting as site investigations continue, with geotechnical borings scheduled for February 2 and a property survey for February 6.
Tecton Architects provided preliminary floor plans for review January 30, and the Cape Cod Commission has confirmed the project requires no Determination of Regional Impact. Community outreach is set for February 2 at the Senior Center.
