Ryan Webber named Falmouth schools IT director

Falmouth Public Schools announced Oct. 19 that Ryan Webber has been appointed director of information technology for the district.

Webber previously served as interim IT director and has continued working closely with the IT department while also supporting district communications and teaching at Falmouth High School.

He began his 20-year career in the district as a teaching assistant at the Mullen-Hall School and has since held a variety of instructional and districtwide roles. His background includes work in technology, video production, communications, and systems supporting teaching and district operations.

The district said Webber's combination of technical knowledge, institutional experience, and perspective as an educator will serve the district well going forward.

In his new role, Webber will continue working with the IT team to support reliable technology throughout the district while also looking ahead at the systems, infrastructure, security, and services needed to support the schools in future years.
