FALMOUTH — Short-Term Rental Advisory Committee votes to require Select Board approval of rental regulations. With four members present, the committee unanimously backed compromise language making Board of Health rules subject to Select Board oversight, addressing concerns raised by town officials about regulatory authority. The panel also unanimously approved adding a liability insurance requirement aligned with Massachusetts state law and ratified its January 14 Findings Report, advancing the proposed short-term rental bylaw toward Select Board consideration.
