Town Keeps Two Roads Closed Weekdays for Sewer Work
Brick Kiln Road and Maravista Avenue Extension will stay closed to through traffic on weekdays this week as the town's ongoing sewer construction project continues, according to a town update issued Friday.

The town's Department of Public Works reported that Brick Kiln Road remains closed between Sandwich Road and Oxbow Road, and Maravista Avenue Extension remains closed between Teaticket Highway and Mattapan Street, as sewer installation work continues. Both closures run 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, and drivers are being directed to use posted detours during those hours, per the town's construction-update page.

The Falmouth Public Library opens "Road to Revolution: The Boston Tea Party," an all-day program at the Main Library on Monday, July 20, part of the library's push into local and national Colonial-era history programming. The same morning, the library hosts Library Lawn Games at 10 a.m. on the Main Library lawn, one of several outdoor drop-in activities the library has been running this summer across its Main, East Falmouth and North Falmouth branches.
