Traffic Advisory Committee recommends sidewalk study and safety upgrades across town.

Falmouth Traffic Advisory Committee advances ten old business items and three new requests. Officer Joshua Oliver, Ptl. David McGraw, Nicholas Croft, and Jed Cornock recommended sidewalk studies at 134 Carriage Shop Road and Nashawena Street; flashing crosswalk signs at Morse Pond and Teaticket Elementary schools; a Safety Zone on Main Street; and a timber guardrail at the Lewis Street and Acapesket Road curve.

The committee declined to recommend a left-turn lane and signal at Sandwich Road and Route 151, and directed DPW to coordinate with Conservation on the Chappaquoit Beach crosswalk.
