Falmouth Veterans' Council unanimously backs Amanda Braga as 2026 Memorial Day speaker. Braga, a military chaplain and sister of a late veteran, was recommended by Director Jim Gouzias for the role. The Council also debated banner placement and design, with Member Paula Smith advocating for a generic "Falmouth loves its veterans" banner to control costs and sidestep decisions about which veterans' photos to display and for how long.
Chair Carissa April directed staff to count available poles in the Town Hall parking lot and request Department of Public Works assistance.
