FALMOUTH — The Falmouth Veterans' Council held a discussion-only meeting March 11 without a quorum, with only four members present: David Branga, John Dillon, Elizabeth Sweeney, and Director Jim Gouzias. Chairperson Carissa April and six other members were absent. The council revisited pending initiatives including affixing commemorative banners to Town Hall parking lot light poles, pursuing Purple Heart Town designation under Member Brian Hodor's leadership, and establishing a paid or unpaid summer internship for veterans' family members.
Members also discussed fiscal year budget allocation for banners, food cards, and gas cards. No votes were recorded.
