Zoning Board approves barn construction, garage addition; defers residential project
Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of June 4, 2026
FALMOUTH — Zoning Board of Appeals approves two special permits, continues three applications. The board unanimously granted applications for Stephen Rejto to construct a 1,040-square-foot barn at 173 Metoxit Road and for Mike Duffany to add to a detached garage at 59 Pattee Road, both with strict construction-hour conditions. The board unanimously approved a modification allowing a sixth rental room in a bed-and-breakfast at 594 Palmer Avenue, with conditions including trash-bin relocation and compliance with Planning Board landscaping standards; three applications were continued to July and later dates, including a residential project that hinges on an unresolved fifth-bedroom variance question.
