Zoning Board approves four special permits; one application continued.

Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of April 30, 2026

FALMOUTH — Zoning Board of Appeals approves four special permits for residential additions. The board voted unanimously on April 30 to permit deck removal and dwelling additions at 43 Ocean View Avenue, North Falmouth (Doyle), and at 35 Pleasant View Avenue, Falmouth (Murphy), along with approval for razing two dwellings and constructing a single-family residence with 24.7 percent lot coverage at 36 Hiawatha Street, Teaticket (Keefe). The board also unanimously approved a special permit for garage space exceeding two cars at 34 Siders Lane, Falmouth (Ogilvy).

A fifth application for an attached garage with habitable space at 6 Falmouth Heights Road, Falmouth (Bourne), was continued to June 4 due to inadequate property staking and unresolved questions regarding wastewater variance and bedroom-count compliance. In separate action, the board voted 4-0 to approve Comprehensive Permit #065-25 for Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod, Inc., at 48 Benjamin Nyes Lane, North Falmouth.
