Zoning Board grants four lot-coverage permits; votes on Habitat project decision delayed

Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of April 16, 2026

FALMOUTH — Zoning Board approves four residential special permits, all with lot-coverage relief. The board voted unanimously on applications #012-26 through #015-26, permitting expansions and new construction at Falmouth properties where lot coverage will range from 21.06 to 24.97 percent, exceeding the standard 20 percent threshold. Conditions require compliance with departmental referrals, work-hour restrictions, and septic or drainage upgrades.

The board separately voted unanimously on five motions regarding draft decision #065-25 for Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod, Inc., but deferred voting on proposed waivers to April 30 after an abutter's attorney objected that one waiver had not been formally requested during the public hearing.
