Falmouth Cultural Council plans for membership transition and expands outreach initiatives. With co-chair Alice Kociemba and treasurer Ilene Karnow's terms ending in June 2027, the council is focusing recruitment on new members with grant management, social media, and community engagement skills. The Card to Culture program, which has distributed 600 postcards and reached 600 families through the high school, will expand to younger grade levels.
The council plans a July 1 screening of the documentary "Democracy" at Highfield Hall and will open its grant program in September.
