The Town of Falmouth announced Nov. 3 that today is Election Day and encouraged residents who have not yet voted to get to the polls.

According to the town clerk's office, 9,816 voters cast their ballots during early voting ahead of today's election.

The town asked voters to confirm their polling location and review the candidates and ballot questions before heading out. Officials noted that this election features a two-page ballot, so completing it may take longer than usual, and suggested voters bring notes or a completed voter checklist to help remember their choices.

The town thanked voters, election workers, officers and others helping keep the voting process moving on Election Day.
