Falmouth Library board accepts Library Director Brian Stokes' resignation, names interim leaders. The Board of Library Trustees unanimously accepted Library Director Brian Stokes' resignation effective August 29 and named Meg Borden, currently assistant director, as Acting Library Director, with Kristin Nelson, Managing Librarian of Adult Services, as Acting Assistant Library Director. A search committee comprising Judy Fenwick, Camille Romano, and Mary Fran Buckley will guide the director search, with the position posted August 14 for one month.
The Trustees approved a $10,000 LSTA Empower Grant to update collections at the Barnstable County Correctional Facility and voted to proceed with website redesign and IT infrastructure upgrades to cloud-based systems.
