Sewer Road Closures Continue Into Another Week
Brick Kiln Road and Maravista Avenue Extension remain closed on weekdays for continuing sewer construction, while the town's library branches roll out a busy slate of summer programming this week.

The town's ongoing sewer project construction continues to disrupt travel in two areas, according to the latest update from the town's News Flash service. Brick Kiln Road remains closed between Sandwich Road and Oxbow Road, and Maravista Avenue Extension remains closed between Teaticket Highway and Maravista Avenue, with both closures in effect 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. Drivers in those neighborhoods should continue to expect detours during work hours.
The Select Board is scheduled to meet Monday, July 27, according to the town calendar, along with the Upper Cape Regional Transfer Station Board of Managers.

The Falmouth Public Library's three branches have a full calendar running through the week. At the Main Library, offerings include "Road to Revolution: The Boston Tea Party" running all day Monday, Library Lawn Games at 10 a.m., a Falmouth Garden Club meeting at 10 a.m., a Mindful Movement Play & Learn Group with the Coalition for Children at 10:30 a.m., Mah Jongg Beginner Open Play at 1 p.m., and a Sensory Play session at 2:30 p.m., all on Monday, July 27.
The East Falmouth branch has Maker Mondays featuring an invisible-ink activity on July 27, Amazing Animal Ambassadors on July 28 at 10:30 a.m., Crafts and Coffee on July 28 at 3:30 p.m., a Stay & Make drop-in craft on July 29 at 9:30 a.m., Library LEGO Time on July 30 at 3:30 p.m., and Why Knot Knit Nite on July 30 at 5 p.m.
