Traffic Advisory Committee Recommends 15 Safety Improvements

Traffic Advisory Committee · Meeting of July 20, 2026

Falmouth Traffic Committee advanced 15 recommendations for traffic improvements and safety measures. At its July 20 meeting, the committee recommended MassDOT letters for intersection and crosswalk improvements, local stop signs and no parking restrictions, vegetation clearing, and painted traffic markings. Two Stone Dock Association requests were not addressed due to lack of member attendance, and the committee declined to act on a North Falmouth Highway speed-limit reduction.

Traffic studies for Benjamin Nye Road, Mill Road, and Walker Street were reviewed and the Benjamin Nye Road study was recommended for engineering evaluation.
