Board approves settlement offers on two tax-appeal cases

Falmouth Board of Assessors unanimously votes to settle two disputed property tax cases. The board authorized Director Melissa Motta to offer settlement in a case at 21 Surrey Lane and to present new information to an appellant at 20 Teaticket Hwy, with Chair Robert Dolan, Member Bruce J Beardsley, and Member Joseph M Clancy voting in favor. The board also approved monthly abatement reports and granted personal exemptions for veterans and blind taxpayers.
