School Committee approves two-year calendars and robotics field trips.

Falmouth School Committee unanimously approved dual school calendars and robotics team travel. The committee, led by Chair Terri Medeiros, adopted the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 school calendars and cleared field trips for the robotics team to compete in Springfield, Massachusetts, April 15-18, and conditionally to Houston, Texas, April 29-May 3, if the team advances to the world tournament, Superintendent Lori Duerr reported. The committee also unanimously adopted Policy JKAA Physical Restraint of Students, which Duerr said includes mechanical restraint definitions added per prior request, and Policy JLCD Administering Medicine to Students, and approved a revised Morse Pond School Statement of Interest submission to the Massachusetts School Building Authority.
