School Committee decides against supporting Article 25 for Town Meeting.

Falmouth School Committee split on Article 25 support ahead of Town Meeting. The Committee voted 5-1 against supporting the article, with Michael Heylin, Glenda Cohen, and Christopher Lumping abstaining, after an earlier motion to postpone failed 4-5. Superintendent Lori Duerr stated that local elected officials should make decisions about schools and presented Town Meeting materials separately.
The Committee also reviewed Duerr's progress on three superintendent goals and heard from Melissa Keefe, Secretary, on the summative evaluation process, with Committee members due to submit End-of-Cycle Evaluation Reports by April 24, 2026.
