Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of October 22, 2026

Falmouth's Zoning Board of Appeals closed a hearing on a 12-unit 40B project on Broken Bow Way and continued a 46-unit affordable housing hearing on Locust Field Road to November 19. The board directed the zoning administrator to draft an affirmative decision for Broken Bow Way covering tree buffers, trash pickup hours and a disputed sidewalk contribution, after resident Brian Tobin called a proposed second curb cut "dangerous, plain and simple." On Locust Field Road, abutter Susan Kelleher and others pressed architect Ben Juan over a three-story design one member called "very Cambridge-y," not Cape Cod. Member Marc Finneran noted Falmouth's subsidized housing inventory sits at "a little over 8.5 percent," below the 10 percent threshold that would give the town more leverage over 40B terms.

The board unanimously approved minutes from September 24 and October 1.
